Don Sloan MCom (Hons)

Over the last 20 years Don has been extensively involved in ther sale and valuation of a wide range of businesses and professional practices. He specialises in the small to medium enterprise (SME) sector which makes up 97% of all New Zealand businesses. Don has also lectured on both business brokerage and business valuation and has co-presented two national seminar series on these topics for the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.

The Ministry of Economic Development defines the SME as those businesses with 19 or less employees. Key SME sector statistics are:

It represents more than 97% of all New Zealand businesses
